Terms of service

Effective 9 September 2026.

What we provide

Plinth Education provides educational counselling: profile diagnosis, planning, mentoring, editing, test and subject tutoring, and application guidance, as described in the written proposal for each engagement. We do not submit applications on a student’s behalf and we do not act as an agent for any university.

What we do not do

We do not write essays, personal statements, activity descriptions, competition entries, research papers or recommendation letters for students, in whole or in part. Students who ask us to will be declined. We do not guarantee admission, scholarships or competition results.

Fees

Fees are stated in the written proposal, fixed before the engagement begins, and payable in instalments tied to phases of the work. Third-party costs such as application fees, test fees, competition and journal fees and program tuition are paid by the family directly. If, after the first month, we conclude that we cannot help materially, we say so and refund the unused balance. Fees are not refundable on the basis of admission outcomes.

The student’s responsibilities

Students agree to do the work themselves, to meet the deadlines in the shared calendar, and to represent their own work honestly in every application. Misrepresentation, plagiarism or the use of AI to generate application content ends the engagement.

Confidentiality

Everything shared with us is confidential and handled as described in the privacy policy. Nothing identifying a student is published.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are to be raised first in writing to hello@plintheducation.com; we aim to resolve them within thirty days.
