Outcomes, with the counting method attached.

Counselling firms publish admit counts without denominators, acceptance-rate multipliers without cohorts, and logo walls without saying who applied where. We would rather publish less and have all of it checkable.

How we count

The rules

  1. 01

    Per student, not per offer

    A student with six admits is one student. We do not add up offers to make a bigger number.

  2. 02

    Only students we actually counselled

    One-off essay reads and free reviews are not counted. An outcome is listed only where the student was in a full or profile-building engagement.

  3. 03

    No multipliers

    'Seven times more likely' claims compare self-selected clients with the general pool. They are not evidence of anything we did, so we do not use them.

  4. 04

    Founder's prior practice, stated as such

    Plinth was founded in 2026. Outcomes below come from the founder's counselling practice from 2021 to 2026 and are labelled that way. Plinth's own cohort results will be added, cycle by cycle, from 2027.

  5. 05

    Anonymous, always

    Names, faces and admit letters are never published. Families can be introduced privately, with consent.

From 2027

What we will publish each cycle

Each spring, for the cohort that applied that cycle: how many students, how many applications, how many admitted to at least one of their top three choices, how many received scholarships, split by destination. Counted per the rules above, with the previous cycles kept on the page so the trend is visible.

If a cycle goes badly, it will say so. That is the only way the good cycles mean anything.
