What we collect

When you book a call or send documents for a profile review we receive the student’s name, school, grade, academic records, activity lists, test scores and the contact details of a parent or guardian. During an engagement we also hold drafts, session notes and correspondence.

How we use it

Only to provide counselling: writing the profile review, planning, editing and tracking applications. We do not sell, rent or share personal information with advertisers, universities or other counselling firms. Subject mentors and tutors receive only the information needed for their piece of work and are bound by confidentiality.

What we never publish

Student names, photographs, essays, admit letters or any identifiable detail, on this website or anywhere else, during or after an engagement. Aggregate outcomes are reported without identifiers. Anonymised case studies are published only with written consent from the family after the student has enrolled.

Retention and deletion

Documents sent for a free review are deleted six months after the review unless an engagement begins. Engagement records are kept for two years after the final decision, then deleted. Families can request deletion at any time by writing to hello@plintheducation.com.

Website analytics

This site uses privacy-respecting, cookie-free analytics where enabled, and no advertising trackers. Booking is handled by Google Calendar appointment scheduling under Google’s privacy terms.

Your rights

You may ask what we hold about you or your child, ask for corrections, or ask for deletion. We respond within fourteen days. For families in the EU or UK, the lawful basis for processing is contract and legitimate interest; for families in India, we comply with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
