Who this is for
What we do
Soft power, opportunity cost, entropy, base rates. If the student does not know a term, the right answer is to say so and ask for a hint, then reason aloud. Bluffing is the one unrecoverable error.
Improve a firm's margins, explain why two hotels on the same street differ, estimate something. Define the terms, give real examples, use numbers, think in tiers.
Gene editing, classifying a new species, whether smartphones erode autonomy. Concrete definitions, specific examples, and a willingness to change position when the interviewer pushes.
Good interviewees lead: they bring the interviewer to what they know, ask questions back, and treat it as a discussion between colleagues rather than an examination.

Questions
They are academic conversations in the subject, usually two or three of them over one or two days, often with a problem or passage given beforehand. Interviewers want to see how the student thinks when they do not know the answer. Preparation is practice at reasoning aloud, not memorising facts.
Many offer optional alumni interviews, which are evaluative but rarely decisive. Scholarship finals and some programs interview more seriously. Treat every one as real.
